Oh, hi – it’s been a while. I’ve stayed busy the past month while neglecting my site (and you, the reader) in the process. I’ve run across a finish line in my first triathlon of the season, walked across a graduation stage at Tufts University with a Master of Science in Nutrition Communication, and I’ve crossed many state lines driving from Boston to my home in Tennessee. Now, I sit in the humidity and warmth of a Southern spring and I couldn’t be happier.
So far, my time here has been filled with family, friends, and of course, food. I’ve happily taken advantage of the non-Boston apartment sized kitchen (heaven) and whipped-up all kinds of new recipes like Easy Blueberry and Almond Scones, fried green tomatoes from Southern Living, and grilled salad with polenta croutons and roasted sweet pepper and chickpea dip from Whole Living.
The Chattanooga Market has made for an excellent Sunday adventure to taste Southern BBQ and yummy kettle corn. And, the market is overflowing with fresh produce from peaches and strawberries to tomatoes and chard.
I’ve also spent some time researching the latest outrageous food creations in the United States and abroad. Check out my most recent post on Boston Magazine’s Hub Health for more.
Eat Well.Feel Well,
Allison
